Alana De La Garza has earned a reputation in TV. De La Garza's parents were Mexican-American and Irish-American. Her birthplace was in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26, 1976. Then she began moving to Texas to pursue a physical therapy career at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before relocating to Florida, Orlando. There she played a range of roles in local independent films as well as international commercials. The small parts didn't stop her from discovering that she enjoyed acting. After moving to New York, in 2001 she landed her first part as a performer for the television show All My Children. Throughout the first decade of 2000, she acted minor roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. The first time she had a major role in a series was the short-lived television drama The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain was lucky to be able to appear with a variety of notable TV actors, such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget, and Mitch Pilegget. The role that she is most famous for was the A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. She was on screen for 85 episodes. Her next role was on the brief-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza's character received several nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she won an Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a recurring character in CSI Miami a short time afterwards. She was Marisol Deko, as well as spouse to David Caruso's character Horatio. She played her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. It was eventually cancelled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. The actress is Italian with a 10 year old younger brother named Cory. Her family was an orthodox and religious family. Milano was seven years young when her babysitter drove Milano to a talent show. Four of the four girls chosen among over a thousand applicants were chosen by Milano. Milano was featured in commercials in both Broadway and on TV and in the American musical adaptation that portrayed Jane Eyre.
